GEA team reaches the disaster area immediately in emergencies.  Except emergencies, GEA organizes various trainings in order to contribute to the social consciousness, in order not to forget and to remind the disasters.

The main aim of the training programs that are organized by our members voluntarily is to inform people about preparedness, how to survive and how to reduce the risks to the minimum in disasters. 

 The training programs are prepared so that they can be adapted to the needs of the organizations and institutions.

The training programs are repeated in certain periods with necessary additions with the aim of deepening the knowledge, turning theory into practice and turning the applications into raflex actions.

  GEA trainings have been enriched with visual and audio presentations. PPT presentations, video and CD projections are included.

a) There are not definite rules in emergencies. Each emergency is like a math equation with multiple unknown items and the results cannot be foreseen.

  Therefore GEA revises the trainings after every operation and aims to increase the level of individual consciousness and preparedness in the society by sharing the knowledge and experience gained during the operations.

  In 10 years, we have seen that loss of life and injuries during disasters are not because of the direct effects of these disasters but that they are because of the wrong reflexive actions of people and because of their being unprepared and unconscious.;

b) GEA does not demand financial assistance in return for trainings because the trainers are volunteers. Instead, we request necessary search and rescue equipments from the institutions trained.

  Since 1994, GEA been organizing trainings at schools, at private and public institutions in order to share knowledge and experience. The number of people we have trained until March 2005, is more than 45.000.
